Hardware and Software: Galaxy Note 3 is the most highly expected smartphone which comes powered up with high-end hardware which could stand up against a notebook too. The non-LTE model comes with Two Quad-core Processors: Processor-1: 1.9 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A15 and Processor-2: Quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 (Which is a slight disappointment). The LTE model comes with a single Quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 Processor. It is the first smartphone to be installed with a 3GB RAM which could open apps and games with blink of an eye. The phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 which is an advanced chipset which enhances performance and the Adreno 330 GPU for high-end gaming experience. The Operating System is expected to be Android OS v4.3 Jelly Bean. Features like S-Voice natural language commands and dictation, Air Gestures, Quick Glance, Smart Stay and Smart Rotate eye tracking will also be made available in the phone.
Camera, Music and Multimedia: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is be better equipped with a 13MP rear camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels, autofocus, LED flash, Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, panorama, HDR and supports 2160p @ 30fps video recording. The Front camera is of 2MP which is enabled with 3G video calling. The smartphone supports media formats like MP3, eAAC+, WMA, WAV (audio) and DivX, XviD, MP4, H.263, H.264, WMV (video).
Internal and External Storage: A high-end smartphone also need a lot of storage space and so the Note 3 comes with 32/64GB internal storage options and there is also external storage slot with support up to 64GB using microSD card.
Connectivity Options: Galaxy Note 3 is made available with 2G, 3G and 4G (Not For Indian MArket) connectivity options. The 2G connectivity is via Quad band (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), 3G via Quad band (HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100). The 3G data trnasfer speed is upto HSDPA 42 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. Other features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, microUSB v2.0, NFC, A-GPS and GLONASS are present in the Device.
Battery and Talk Time: The power management is a big task in smartphones but the Galaxy Note 3 is provided with Standard Li-on 3200 mAh battery which could deliver better talktime and stand by time.
